                    AGA Leadership

                     

                    Applications for AGA leadership, committees, course directors, and Council openings. (Applications are closed.)

                    Make a difference in GI and help advance AGA's vision of ending the burden of digestive disease! By becoming involved, you will develop greater leadership skills and play a pivotal role in helping guide AGA's strategic direction. We welcome volunteers who bring diversity across all dimensions, including (but not limited to) gender, race and ethnicity, geography, sexual identify, practice setting, perspectives, and institution type. To view completed applications, select My Applications from the left menu. Terms begin in June 2024.

                     

                    2024 AGA Postgraduate Course (Applications are under review.)

                    AGA is soliciting case studies from early career GIs and fellows for presentation alongside faculty during the course's breakout sessions. Chosen applicants also receive free registration to the course, a $400 honorarium, a two-night hotel stay and local travel expenses. View Application Preview.

                     

                    2024 AGA Tech Summit 

                    2024 AGA Tech Summit Shark Tank Pitch Competition (Applications are closed.) 

                    The AGA Shark Tank pitch competition is devoted to bringing better medical technologies to market to serve the needs of patients living with digestive diseases. Five finalists will be selected for a platform presentation at the 2024 AGA Tech Summit, April 11 - 12 at MATTER Chicago, Chicago, IL.

                    Winner of the 2024 AGA Shark Tank will:
                    1. Receive widespread promotion to the GI community.
                    2. Receive a year’s subscription to MATTER Chicago.
                    3. Receive a crystal trophy and complimentary registration to the 2025 AGA Tech Summit.
                    4. Be considered for the AGA GI Opportunity Fund.
                    5. Represent the AGA at the DDW 2024 Shark Tank Competition (May 18 – 21) in Washington, DC.
